Since I know I will get several emails about this I figured I would go ahead and make a post about it. On January 14, 2017 this very nice 1976 BRADLEY GT Sold At Barrett Jackson for $7700. Lets talk about this for a moment, shall we? https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1976-BRADLEY-GT–199286
1976 BRADLEY GT Sold At Barrett Jackson
As any long time reader he knows I have always been a fan of Bradley Automotive Cars. They are simple and a great way to get into kit cars with very little money. The 1976 BRADLEY GT Sold At Barrett Jackson auction is NOT the average project car. This is a time capsule if you will . Since Bradley Automotive sold 1000s of these I will never called them rare kit cars, but this one is one of the better examples out there.
Now with that being said this is not the first time a Bradley GT Sold at Barrett Jackson . Back at Las Vegas 2014 this one http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1971-BRADLEY-GT-GULLWING-COUPE-177087 Sold for a mind numbing $9350.
There is also another, and almost identical looking one floating around for $12,000 on the samba.
So what do you all think? Was the $9350 a few years ago a fluke, and the $7700 a realistic price? Or is it neither of them and they are both typical high price Barrett Jackson cars?
I can tell you I know of a brown one in equally as good shape, that may or may not be one of the 3 I have listed and it was sold just a short time ago for under $3000 . I have also seen many REALLY NICE examples over the years never get past $5000 .
Comment below and let me know what you think about the auctions as well as your thoughts on the current and realistic value of the Bradley GT Kit Car.
