Fiberclassics 2017 Year In Review

What can I say? 2017 has been an interesting time for the Fiberclassics Brand. This Fiberclassics 2017 Year In Review will be brief and touch on some of the stuff we did this year and some of what we have planned for 2018.

Fiberclassics 2017 Year In Review

Well where should I start? The website is still seeing very good traffic in 2017 although it is down a bit from previous years. I believe a lot of this has to do with the fact that I have been posting more on facebook and less on here. It is something I really need to work on.

While we are on facebook I should mention that the Facebook page has reached over 18,000 likes and our fiberclassics handcrafted cars, fiberglass cars, replicars, and more group is getting ready to hit 500 members.

The $2500 Bradley GT2 build is slow going and I apologize for not posting an update lately. The chassis is done, and the body is ready to wire but finding the time to work on it is always a challenge. I really hope to get moving on it again in the coming weeks.

Whats in Store for 2018?

First and foremost I want to get the Bradley GT2 Kit Car project wrapped up. It really will not take much to get it back together and I am just dragging my feet at this point. From there I can concentrate on everything else. So whats everything else?

For starters I think its about time I stop talking about this Handcrafted Car Meet I want to put together and get to it. I have the framework in my head and I think I can get something out on it shortly. The idea is a small rally, food, etc on the East Coast of the USA first, and then if that goes well I will add a West Coast version in 2019.

I also want to start offering more parts, literature, and magazines for sale in 2018 as well as expanding on the Assembly Manual page.

Lastly I really want to add a few more people to the Fiberclassics team so we can have much more quality content being published on a regular basis. Jamie Dunst of Idea Motor Cars has been assisting with the facebook page and it has helped out tremendously. I need a few more people like him to help out.

I have a bunch of other ideas and thoughts but I wanted to keep this one short and sweet. I hope you enjoyed the Fiberclassics 2017 Year In Review. Have a great Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever holiday you observe and a happy and prosperous New Year
