Condor Coach Works Handcrafted Car
Hey Everyone. I just came across this gem on craiglist. I recall This Condor Coach Works Handcrafted Car for sale a time or two over the years and it is exactly the way it was. For those of you who have never seen one, the Condor was a tube chassis car set up for a Mid Engine V8. It was built by Condor Coach Works.
To be honest I have no idea now many of these were sold. I have seen a few Condor Coach Works Handcrafted Car pop up over the years. Judging by the listing the seller really does not have much (or any info) on the body. Here is what the seller says about it…
am selling a fiberglass gel kit car body and tubular (non rollable) frame meant to resemble a 1980 Lamborghini Countach super car. The center part lifts up to gain entry and the back half lifts open. It is the body and is in fair condition and would need to be integrated with a car frame and engine. This is meant for a car enthusiast who has the time for such a project and is being sold AS IS. IT IS HEAVY and you would need to pick up from the location in Hancock, MI and have help to lift on to your own trailer to haul. Needs work. Please make an offer. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Now it was not a replica of the Lamborghini Countach althought you can see the obvious design similarities. The unique part of the body is that it has a flip top roof like that of the early Fiberfab Aztecs. The listing shows the price of the body at $1000. I can only guess that you could get this one for less money. Problem is you will dump a whole bunch of money into it. to get it going.
