Let's call it a half rebody. We took available kit parts, chopped them in half, resectioned bumpers, built in an f430 diffuser, made our own flares and fenders etc.(Car is still in single stage blitz black and primer and half wrapped.. So yes.. The finished wrap images here are half " drawn over" lol.. Still finishing an engine swap so the wrap will have to wait until we're mechanically finished).Parts were all made over top of foam/positives, so the kit is kind of thick in places right now.End goal is to filet wax the hardware pockets.vacuum bag two layers of 3k.weave carbon over top of each full quarter panel..Pull, trim up , remove flares from beneath and simply glue the carbon parts back on with windsheild urethane and body work them nice and smooth ..(non visible weave, just structural etc.) Grassroots, non production stuff here. Not looking to make nor store any molds.. First timer, along w help from a friend who did most of the glass work, and designed by myself. Front suspension arms are longer now to match the wider front end. www.instagram.com/bmccann101Goal was to have an IMSA style car for the street. ... See MoreSee Less
