I always thought  these VW Bug Z28 Camaro Buggy where interesting. They were manufactured by KAR-Manufacturing as well as another company if I recall. They used a shortened VW beetle and looked like a micro machine.

This was just popped up on eBay for $2500 . The price is WAY high for a project such as this that does not have a title. $800-$1000 tops is what I would pay for something like this. Just like with most sellers on craigslist there is not much info on it. Here is all it says…

Mini Volkswagen Camaro kit car/ dune buggy. The chassis on the car is off a VW and is powered by a VW motor in the rear. The body was made by KAR and resembles a 1970 Chevy Camaro. The fiberglass is in very good condition and the motor is free. I have not tried to start the car. Very unique car that you will probably only see one of. Will be sold with a bill of sale, no title.
