Hey everyone. I was browsing around craigslist I came across this Fiberfab Aztec Project for sale. The Fiberfab Aztec was one of the earlier cars from Fiberfab and came in a conventional door, Gull-Wing door, and a really nifty “Flip Top” version.
Out of all the Fiberfab cars made the Aztec if by far my favorite of the bunch . Much more so than any of the other Fiberfab models. Especially the Flip-Top version of the car. This car for sale is one of those great Flip Top models.
Info on this particular Fiberfab Aztec is light on the listing. Here is what it says…
Selling Aztec kit car set on Volkswagen drivetrain. All fiberglass body and could be set up for
Racing having a roll bar installed. Has a Volkswagen title. Asking $1600 or best reasonable offer.
$1600 seems reasonable for a project that has a title and appears to be in half way decent condition. It does not specify if the car runs or even has an engine in it. Just like with most of these cars there is usually a good amount of wiggle room to get a better deal on it.
Because these cars have not been made in many, MANY years you do have to get creative to put them together but the end result is well worth it.
