Sonny (who’s also the owner of the 77 Sterling in the entry below) has been picking up some very pretty toys on eBay! Here’s another one of his kitcars, a Manta Montage. His is VW based, on a ’68 chassis using a Vanagon transmission and a 1914cc VW engine. I continue to be quite jealous…

I am looking for a body kit to build my own but I don’t know where to start looking for the kit.

Actually have the car that was in Colorado ZSprings, also I have a 66 Aztec gullwing that is now a convertible, both are under restoration. The Montage will be getting a custom mid engine frame from Eric Martin, and the factory VW pan under it now will go to the Azrecas it has the nice 3″ dropped floor.

Is this kit car available in Australia. I am in Brisbane and have been a huge fan of the car ever since Hardcastle and McCormick back in the eighties.Love the shape and if and when I can afford one I would love to hillclimb the car.
