Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of having a new theme done for Price of his toys. My ultimate goal is to keep the website structure the same. It has worked for this long and has worked well. Just a few color changes, and logo are about all I am shooting for. With that being said is there any additional features that visitors might find useful. I was thinking about a classified section, but would it be used? What else?

I have to ask. Do you know of any Manta Mirages or Manta Montages for trade out there? I have a 67 Camaro Coupe for a trade. Yes a classified section would be helpful.

Classified as in full ads or just a place to post links to your Ebay or Craigslist ?
I was sort of leaning towards a full on classifieds but I want to hear from you guys on what you would like.
I think it would be great to add categories for the different types of posts, say: “Sightings” where there are pictures of the cars, “Sales” where the cars are for sale on eBay or Craig’s, and “Restorations” where we get to follow/see the journey of a car from kit/junk to finished work (my faves).

In the Vein of the original “Price” where Shannon always did link to net finds for sale, of course you know I’m busy on that but I would see classifieds as a great idea, perhaps sections like full running cars, projects, then parts….I know I would love it.
Yep catagories would be the best idea . They save a lot of wasted time looking through ads you aren’t interested in. The Opel forum I’m in does a nice job with the for sale section.
And include the fine print “This site and it’s owners are not liable for ad content” just a little boiler plate .
Hosting picture links to PhotoBucket and such would be better than uploading them to your servers.

The theme is being worked on. You might notice it to be a pain to comment right now. We are working to get the comment button and category button you are use to seeing at the bottom of the post.
It’s coming along nicely good work on it . The page seems to be loading faster since the change :D

New theme is looking good! I’ll throw my $0.02 in the ring about hosting images elsewhere. My wife and I ran a popular photoblog a while back (cutebabyfix.com) and used photobucket and flickr at various times for image hosting. We were featured on CNN at one point in time monumentally increasing our traffic (for a little while). The image hosting sites were not happy with the increased traffic and temporarily suspended our accounts for “abuse”. Most web hosting accounts give you unlimited storage space now, so I would definitely host them yourself. There are good plugins for WordPress that make this very simple as well.

Hey TJ. Photo hosting has a place and most of us use those sites daily. I am going to stick with self hosting the one on price. There are already over 3000 images hosted here. This way I will not have to rely on another site to make sure my images are being hosted correctly

The site looks nice and is loading better . Good work
