Rounding off today’s eBay finds is this great Astra. It is listed as a no reserve auction so hopefully some buyer we get a really good deal. It appears to be pretty solid car and with a little bit of work of work is should be a lot of fun Auction #260991046924

the funniest vehicle I’ve even seen!))
Some elements of it remind me of my Aztec GT
Tirelady…take a stroll thru some of the cars here I assure you others will produce a bigger laugh.
Rich, do you think so….my bet…ahem, my guess is one is a rip of the other…
This is a sweat little early kit car, I hope someone gives it a good home it deserves,
I do have to wonder why some kit sellers always post production numbers and survivor figures as cut in stone fact, sadly so many times they are so way off….I just saw an Avenger ad say less than 100 Made…not at all true unless perhaps he meant on Sundays.
But really I hope someone snaps this one up.
Since the Aztec was done in 66 it would be a safe bet FiberFab was the guilty party. The flip top and rear clip kept it from being too obvious .
The two companies were more than likely equal in quality but you don’t see as many Kellisons . The production numbers are just bs most of the time. Thats like guys who say a certain number were finished how would they know?
