Own a piece of movie history . The Monster car from Death Race 2000 is for sale. It is said to be on a 1968 vw pan and the body is a modified corvette body. They also have the Bull car for sale from the same movie

It wasn’t too long ago these cars popped up and I thought were sold, last I looked they repainted the once fur covered “Bull” car.

The “Monster” car in Death Race is not a Modded Corvette, in fact it’s a Dune buggy style kit car called a Shala-Vette made by Dick Dean,
The car is shortened like a VW Dune Buggy, the movie car was said to run a Corvair engine so it had to be a fun ride,
I always wanted one but they are few and far between….
As I recall reading about the time the movie was current several of the cars were really just Glass over cardboard on VW chassis.
The main car was claimed to be a modified ‘Vette.
