Kim’s got an absolutely beautiful Meyers Manx SR2 by Karma Motors up for sale in Orange County, California. For 33 years this car sat, in part form in a garage. That said, it came basically factory assembled, complete other than needing the windshield bolted on and the chassis constructed. It sits on a 1971 VW with its original 1600cc engine completely rebuilt (cam, heads, dual port manifold, aluminum rocker covers, tuned exhaust, degreed pulley, bosch 009 distributor, an oil filter system, and more). The brakes and clutch are new, and it’s got turbo mags, gas shock operated doors, outside rear view mirrors, top and side windows with all hardware, a roll bar with interior light, factory Karma bucket seats with original upholstery, a front spoiler, coil over shocks, carpet, heater defroster system, and new tires.

And here’s the best part — it’s got 21 miles on it. That’s it.

This is the closest thing you’ll ever find to a Manx SR2 new off the dealership, if such a thing existed. Kim is asking only $12,000 and you can write them at kimapierce@comcast.net.
