Pair of Kit Car Bodies for Sale
We posted this Pair of Kit Car Bodies for Sale in South Carolina in December of 2015 and it looks as though they are still available. For some reason back then they were $500 each and now they are $800. I can only guess they because very rare and because of that the price needed to go up :)
If you have no clue what you are looking at the white car is a Ferrer GT and the Red one is an Invader GT that we posted back in 2006 . Before you email me or comment the red car IS an Invader GT. Tom in Florida has one exactly like it but his has gone from Yellow to Black. He says it is an early Invader but that is not accurate . The early Invaders were a modified version of the Loring Mantis. When I contacted David Loring I was told, if I recall correctly it was a spanish version of the Invader.
These are both interesting kit cars. The touches on the Invader make me not hate it so much and the Ferrer looks like it was in the process of getting a few customization. All in all I think these would be some fun ones to restore. Sure it would be a lot of work, but they are at least unique. Something about the Invader GT screams out to me as a fun project to get my hands on . Not sure what it is but I am intrigued
What do you all think? Would you put the time and effort into either one of these? Since they are just bodies essentially what would you power them with? And the most important part is what would you pay for this Pair of Kit Car Bodies for Sale?

Do you have any more pictures of the interior and the doors. Has has a car ever been mounted on a VW chassis before. Does the car have wiring? I see that has instruments are they wired?
Does the white one haves the roof and glass?
I’d be interested by both of them if they’re both available still if not I’m still looking for a shell at a reasonable price thank you very much
Are either on still available
Yeah man! These old girls are a heap of fun! The idea was to take the body, slap it on a chassis, usually VW type 3, but I’ve heard Corvair as well! Basically you can use every bit of the wiring, switches etc from the donor car and then get creative with the rest! Custom kinda jobber!
