No GT IIs managed to make it to Carlisle 2006 (at least not on Saturday while I was there), but four original Bradley GT kits did arrive. The first two to show up were a pair of silver metalflake ones (the “I AM A 9” plate is a reference to the type nine — “the peacemaker“ — personality type):
Next was a bright purple flamed Bradley GT…
…followed by a white and blue one also sporting a custom paint job:
It was great seeing these old kits represented (and a little sad thinking about how many are rotting away in fields and barns) as I believe it could be argued that the Bradleys did for VW kitcars what the Manx did for dunebuggies.
Point of Trivia: It’s not unusual to see Bradley GTs (not as nice as these, but still functioning vehicles) sell for $500 or less!

The Blue and White car is a “Limited Edition” version of the Bradley GT and was available in 1978 1/2, and 1979. All of these cars came with this color scheme as standard, with light blue interior. Where can I find parts for a Bradley G.T. ?
was wondering if I could get any of these for 600 or less, will be converting to electric so I don’t have the money to get an expensive car and all the parts to convert it
There’s no way you’d find one in this condition for $600… However, Bradleys very regularly show up for under $600 in conditions that would be suitable for your project.
THESE CARS LOOK GREAT. I JUST BOUGHT A 1976 MODEL THAT NEEDS VERY LITTLE WORK. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHERE TO GET SOME RUBBER MOULDING FOR THE GULLWING DOORS.ESPECIALLY THE WIDE MOULDING SEEN ON THE SILVER BRADLEY IN PICS THAT LOOKS WIDER THAN THE ORIGINAL.
