White Kelmark GT Kit Car For Sale

Check out this White Kelmark GT Kit Car For Sale on craigslist . I personally like the kelmark GT kit car,  I really do. It is not an exact replica and it does not look nearly as good as some of the other dino replicas (such as the karma) but it definitely has its place in 1970s kit car history.

This kelmark GT kit car looks OK. The rims are ridiculous but that is just my personal taste. Judging by the photos it looks like the seller figured white paint would distract from the almost untouched rough interior.

The owner of this White Kelmark GT Kit Car For Sale  is WAY optimistic of what a kelmark GT is worth…..

Im sure he would say the $15,000 he is asking is because its the best one out there, another kelmark GT kit car  in mint condition with a v8 was listed one for more money, its rare, you will never find another one like it, or i have more into it then that.

On its best day, even with the beefy little engine, the pearl paint, and the aweful rims, this is a $6000-$8000 car on a really good day. The higher price would be for the VERY right buyer.

It does not even look like they spent anytime correcting the problem door gaps.

But you tell me. What do you think this kelmark gt kit car is worth? Comment below and let us know

His door fit is almost as bad as my Kelmark. The warpage is hard to get rid of. Mine is in the original yellow color scheme a good 10 footer but I wouldn’t ask a 3rd of his price.

I have a 68 Kelmark GT. It is on a VW chassis with no engine or interior. It has all the glass and lights I have all paperwork and data tags for it. This car has never been on the road, the body has never been cut and it still has the original rims and bias-ply tires. Can you tell me what it is worth? Please respond to my E-mail address

Its not worth much. They don’t get much complete either. Its just the nature of the 1970s kit car.

Hate to say it but the Bradley could be worth less than the kelmark. The major problem that plagues the GT2 (well one of them) is the windshield CANT be replaced . you can occasionally find a used one, but not often.

Crack the windshield the kit car is useless. Many people have tried to adapt another windshield to fit but the closest they have gotten was a 280z . BUT it takes a lot of work to make it fit.

The GT2 is one of my favorites BTW.

Would those headlight covers have to come off? They look too dark to be effective.

I like the wheels, but I don’t think they fit the look of this car. The VDO gauges are nice… remind me of an airplane cockpit. However, the rest of the interior is long overdue for an update. And what’s with the Ferrari-branded floormat?

    Maybe $5000.

I just love the tire kicker critics…..ALL MOUTH….NO MONEY! LOL

The best comment I’ve seen from a seller was “a kit car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it”. I know this is a dead thread but it’s new to me.
